If you are thinking about having your brows tattooed, we need to make sure you are eligible first. Some medications and conditions are a contraindication and unfortunately means we cannot go ahead with the treatment. Please read through this page thoroughly before booking your appointment, failure to do so and making an appointment with a contraindication means no refunds will be given for the deposit.
ARE YOU PREGNANT, BREASTFEEDING, OR TRYING TO CONCEIEVE?
You cannot have tattooing while pregnant, and it is highly advised to wait until you have finished breastfeeding. If you are trying to conceive, please either wait until after birth or try to wait to conceive until after the perfection visit.

ARE YOU OVER 18?
You must be 18 years or over to be able to have Cosmetic Tattooing. You may be asked for ID, please don't be offended if done so.

DO YOU HAVE EXISTING BROW TATTOO?
Unfortunately at this stage, I am not taking on any previous technicians work.

DO YOU HAVE ANY ACTIVE INFECTIONS?
Please wait until these are fully healed if so.

DO YOU HAVE ANY BODY TATTOOS?
If you had any problems with healing, please mention this.
​
HAVE YOU HAD ANY COSMETIC INJECTABLES TO THE AREA?
Please wait at least 2 weeks before having your tattoo, and at least 2 weeks after your tattoo to have injectables.
DO YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGIES?
If yes, please mention these when booking.

ARE YOU USING HAIR GROWTH SERUMS TO THE AREA?
Please stop using these 6 weeks before procedure.

DO YOU HAVE ANY HISTORY OF KELOID SCARRING?
If so, it is not recommended to have tattoo unless you have written consent from your doctor.

HAVE YOU HAD ANY CHEMICAL PEELS OR LASER AROUND THE AREA RECENTLY?
Please wait 3 weeks before having tattoo.

DO YOU SUFFER WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING?
- HYPER PIGMENTATION?
- HEART CONDITIONS?
- SHINGLES?
- BRUISING EASILY?
- AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES?
- CANCER?
- BLEEDING DISORDERS?
- DIABETES?
- HEPATITIS?
- GLAUCOMA?
- BLEPHARITUS?

HAVE YOU EVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH TOPICAL OR INJECTED ANASTHETIC?
Topical anaesthetic is used for Cosmetic tattooing which may contain Tetracaine, Lignocaine, Prilocaine and Epinephrine. We using a numbing cream for pre-numb, and a numbing gel for during to control pain levels and bleeding.

DO YOU HAVE ANY MOLES/ SORES/ SCARS IN THE AREA?
We cannot tattoo over moles, and any sores will have to be fully healed. Scars can be tattooed over, but there is risk that some scar tissue may not retain pigment. It is also best to wait 12 months after the trauma was created to make sure it is fully healed.

DO YOU REGULARLY DONATE BLOOD?
After a tattoo procedure, you cannot donate blood for 4 months.

HAVE YOU HAD CHEMO RECENTLY?
If so, please wait at least 6 months after.

PREPARING FOR YOUR PROCEDURE;
​
no exfoliants/ skin thinners (vitamin a, glycolic acids) on the brow area 2 weeks prior to procedure.
​
no alcohol, caffeine, blood thinners such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin 48hours before procedure.
​
no pre-workout 7 days before procedure.
​
No fish oils at least 7 days before procedure.
​
no cosmetic botox or filler in the last 2 weeks.
